Evergreen and almost indestructible...
Tanika has proven to be one of the toughest most reliable landscape plants over the last couple of years. It has filled an ongoing need that previously went unfulfilled. It grows to a height of 50-60cm with a spread of 65cm wide.
Domestic landscape designers and contractors, needed a plant with style, an abundance of spring flowers, ability to grow in sun and shade, a plant that would generally need no irrigation, except in areas like Perth, where very occasional watering is enough. They needed a plant that will stay evergreen even in Canberra winters, and a plant the public would fall in love with. They needed a plant of the right size that would fit into most gardens.
Landscape architects and contractors needed a plant that was drought tolerant, evergreen in almost all situations (drought and frost), almost indestructible, would out compete weeds, live and look good naturally with practically no care, and almost importantly, not grow too tall. They needed Tanika.
